Terms of Use — Connected Ovals

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using the Connected Ovals app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. The App is free

Connected Ovals is free to use with no paywalls, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases for core functionality. Optional paid features (such as cloud sync) may be introduced in future versions and will be clearly presented as optional.

3. Your data

All data you create in the App (habits, logs, settings) is stored entirely on your device. We have no access to it. You are responsible for backing up your data. If you uninstall the App, your data is deleted from your device.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App for its intended purpose: tracking personal habits. You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App (beyond what is permitted by applicable law)
Use the App in any way that violates applicable law

5. Health data

If you connect the App to Apple Health or Google Health Connect, you grant the App read access to certain health data categories for the purpose of auto-logging habits. The App does not transmit or store this data beyond your device. You can revoke this access at any time in your device's privacy settings.

The App is not a medical device and is not intended for medical use. Do not rely on it for health or medical decisions.

6. No warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use it at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when Terms change.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App at any time, though we will try to give reasonable notice if possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
