Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Connected Ovals is a habit tracker app ("the App") built and maintained by a solo developer (Vlads Lavrenovs, Latvia). This policy explains how the App handles your information.

2. Data we do not collect

The App does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data with us or any third party. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no backend servers. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your habit data, log history, or streak counts
• Your location
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Anything at all

3. Data stored on your device

All App data — habits, daily logs, settings, streak history — is stored locally on your device only using on-device storage (Hive database). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (CSV export in Profile settings).

If you uninstall the App, all App data is permanently deleted from your device.

4. Health data (optional)

On Android, the App can optionally read data from Health Connect. On iOS, from Apple Health. This is entirely optional and requires your explicit permission.

If you grant this permission:

• Health data (steps, workouts, sleep, etc.) is read from your device's health platform and used only to auto-log relevant habits within the App.
• Health data is never transmitted off your device.
• Health data is never stored beyond what is logged into your habit entries.
• You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Health or Privacy settings.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App schedules local on-device reminders. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and do not involve any external service or server.

6. Third-party services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no Google Analytics, Firebase, Sentry, or similar services.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Their respective privacy policies apply to the download and installation process.

7. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, the App is safe for all ages.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since no data is collected, changes are unlikely to affect you.
